Meteorologists predict moderate weather for Egypt’s northern coasts on Friday and hot weather in Cairo and Lower Egypt.
Very hot temperatures will prevail across Upper Egypt during the daytime, while the weather will grow milder at night throughout the country.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 31C in Alexandria, 36C in Cairo, 42C in Qena and 43C in Luxor and 44C in Aswan.
Mist will impact visibility in the morning in the northern parts of the country, with low- and medium-level clouds anticipated.
Winds will be mostly northeasterly and moderate, active on the western coasts and in the southern areas of Upper Egypt, South Sinai, and the Mediterranean Sea.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be moderate and will range between 1.5 and two meters in height with northwesterly surface winds.
