Meteorologists expect hot weather to continue Monday on the northern coasts, the Delta and Cairo, with highs of 37C in Cairo and 32C in Alexandria.
Visibility will decrease in the morning and low- and medium-level clouds will appear above the the coasts.
Winds will be mostly northwestern and active over the Gulf of Suez, the Red Sea, Upper Egypt, and South Sinai, which will disturb maritime navigation.
Waves in the Mediterranean will reach 1.5 to 2 meters in height, and 2 to 2.5 meters in the Red Sea with northwesterlies prevailing on both seas.
Hotter weather will be felt in Upper Egypt during the daytime, with highs of 39C in Qena, 40C in Luxor, and 41C in Aswan.
