Hot weather across Egypt on Wednesday

Meteorologists predict moderately hot weather during the day on Wednesday on north coast, hot weather in Cairo and the Delta Governorates, and very hot weather in South Sinai and Upper Egypt.

Temperatures will cool off across most parts of the country at night, with moderate nighttime temperatures expected in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.

Anticipated temperatures for the following cities are: 31C in Alexandria, 34C in Cairo, 39C in Qena, 40C in Luxor, 42C in Aswan.

A light mist is expected to fall in the morning in Cairo, the north coast, and the Delta governorates.

Moderately strong winds from the northwest coast will likely disrupt maritime navigation in the Gulf of Suez, and lift sand and dust along the northern coastal cities.

The maximum and minimum humidity levels will be: 45-90 percent in the north coast, 28-75 percent in Cairo and the Delta Governorates, 22-60 percent in northern Upper Egypt, and 14-20 percent in southern Upper Egypt.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height.

Northwestern surface winds will cover both seas.
