The Egyptian Meteorological Authority’s Manar Ghanem said on Tuesday that Egypt will witness an increase in temperatures during the daytime, slightly exceeding 30C – one or two degrees higher than normal.
Ghanem added, in a telephone interview to the “Good Morning Egypt” program that we are affected by air masses coming from the north of the Arabian Peninsula, which makes the weather hot during the day.
There will be a difference in the maximum and minimum temperatures by up to 12C during the night and day.
Mists are expected in the early morning.
This weather will continue until the end of the week, she said, adding that the nightfall will see an increase in humidity until Thursday.
Starting Friday, Egypt will begin to be affected by the Pentecostal depression in the Western Sahara, which will bring another temporary rise in temperatures, Ghanem said.
“Winds will blow up dust and sand, and the temperature will quickly decrease on Saturday, and we advise citizens to wear summer clothes and not be exposed to the sun from 12 noon until three pm.”
