Meteorologists predict hot and humid weather on Sunday during the daytime on Cairo, and Lower Egypt, with moderate weather on the northern coasts, and very hot weather expected over South Sinai and Upper Egypt
The weather will grow moderate at night across most parts of the country, while mild on the northern coasts.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 30C in Alexandria, 37C in Cairo, 43C in Qena, and 45C in Luxor and Aswan.
Mists are expected during the morning hours on Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northern coasts.
Winds will be northwestern and moderate across most parts of Egypt.
Moderate rainfall is expected on South Sinai and the Red Sea mountains, while light rainfall is expected on different parts of Upper Egypt.
Maximum and minimum humidity levels are: 55-95 on the northern coasts, 50-90 at Cairo and Lower Egypt, 25-60 in northern Upper Egypt, and 15-35 at southern Upper Egypt.
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) said that the country is currently being affected by the Indian summer monsoon, which is typical every summer and makes the country’s weather hotter and more humid.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height, with northwestern surface winds on both seas.
