Meteorologists predict hot and humid weather on Sunday during the daytime on Cairo, and Lower Egypt, with moderate weather on the northern coasts and very hot weather on South Sinai and Upper Egypt
The weather will grow milder at night on the northern coasts and northern Upper Egypt, while moderate on Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 32C in Alexandria, 37C in Cairo, 40C in Qena, 41C in Luxor, and 42C in Aswan.
Mists are expected during the morning hours on Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northern coasts. Winds will be northwestern and moderate across most parts of Egypt, while active on Gulf of Suez, disrupting the maritime navigation there.
Maximum and minimum humidity levels are: 45-89 on the northern coasts, 27-78 at Cairo and Lower Egypt, 18-35 in northern Upper Egypt, and 12-25 at southern Upper Egypt.
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) said that the country is currently being affected by the Indian summer monsoon, which is typical every summer and makes the country’s weather hotter and more humid.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between one and 1.5 meters in height, with northwestern surface winds on both seas.
