Meteorologists predict hot and humid weather on Monday during the daytime on Cairo and Lower Egypt, with moderate weather on the northern coasts and very hot weather on South Sinai and Upper Egypt.
The weather will grow mild on Cairo, Lower Egypt and the northern coasts by nightfall, while moderate on South Sinai and Upper Egypt.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 32C in Alexandria, 36C in Cairo, 41C in Qena, 42C in Luxor, and 43C in Aswan.
Mists are expected during the morning hours on Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northern coasts.
Maximum and minimum humidity levels are: 50-92 on the northern coasts, 25-82 at Cairo and Lower Egypt, 18-50 in northern Upper Egypt, and 12-25 at southern Upper Egypt.
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) said that the country is currently being affected by the Indian summer monsoon, which is typical every summer and makes the country’s weather hotter and more humid.
Winds will be northwestern and moderate across most parts of Egypt.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height, with northwestern surface winds on both seas.
