Meteorologists predict moderately hot and humid weather on Sunday during the daytime at Cairo and Lower Egypt, with moderate weather on the northern coasts, hot temperatures on northern Upper Egypt and very hot weather at South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.
The weather will grow mild across most parts of Egypt at night, while moderate on South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 32C in Alexandria, 35C in Cairo, 40C in Qena and Luxor, and 42C in Aswan.
Mists are expected during the morning hours on Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northern coasts.
Winds will be northwestern and moderate across most parts of the country.
Maximum and minimum humidity levels are: 50-88 on the northern coasts, 30-80 at Cairo and Lower Egypt, 17-45 in northern Upper Egypt, and 13-20 at southern Upper Egypt.
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) said that the country is currently being affected by the Indian summer monsoon, which is typical every summer and makes the country’s weather hotter and more humid.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between one and 1. 5 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height.
Surface winds will be northwestern over both seas.
