Meteorologists expect very hot weather to prevail on Friday across Egypt. Milder temperatures are expected along the northwestern coast.Low and medium-level clouds are anticipated on Friday in the north, accompanied with rainfall along the northwestern coast and the Delta region.
Winds are expected to be mostly southwesterly and moderate in strength. It is predicted to be active in Cairo and Lower Egypt, and to plow up dust in open areas. It will be also active in west of the Mediterranean and in the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting navigation.
Waves in the Mediterranean and Red seas will range between 2 to 2.5 meters in height, with northwesterly surface wind. Waves in the Red Sea are expected to range between 1 to 1.5 meters in height, with southeasterly surface wind.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows; 39C in Cairo and 26C in Alexandria, 40C in Qena, 42C in Luxor, and 44C in Aswan.
