The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects hot and humid weather on Saturday during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the North Coast, with very hot weather in South Sinai and the southern parts of the country.
The weather at night will be slightly hot and humid across most parts of the country.
Chances for rainfall
The EMA said that the weather on Saturday will see the possibility of light to moderate rain, occasionally accompanied by thunderstorms, which may lead to flash floods in areas south of the New Valley Governorate.
Light rain and thunderstorms will be experienced at Abu Simbel intermittently.
Winds will be active in areas of Greater Cairo, South Sinai, the Red Sea Governorate, and southern Upper Egypt, and may cause sand and dust storms in Abu Simbel, south of the New Valley Governorate.
