Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ayman Ashour opened Saturday the ISPRS Geospatial Week (GSW 2023).
The conference is co-organized by the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport from September 2 to 7.
Our ultimate goal is to utilize science, research, and innovation to achieve the development goals of the Egyptian people. This is why we are interested in emerging technologies and the development of laws and regulations that can accelerate and facilitate the attainment of these goals through the use of such technologies, the minister told the event.
The GSW provides a platform for international scholars, graduate students, future scientists and industrial sectors to learn exchange knowledge and experiences of applying geospatial technologies for sustainable development for better quality of life for people around the world.
