Higher education min. orders preparedness at Minya teaching hospital following train accident

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ayman Ashour has ordered taking the highest preparedness at Minya teaching Hospital to receive persons wounded in the Minya train accident which occurred Sunday morning.

Miniya University President Essam Farahat said Dr Ayman Hassanein, deputy president of the university for society service affairs, environment development and acting CEO of teaching hospitals, will lead a team of surgeons and nurses to offer medical services to the wounded in coordination with the Ministry of Health and Education.

The acting CEO of Minya teaching hospitals said the injury cases are light and all of them are receiving medical care.
