Egypt's first high school specializing in science and mathematics has been flooded with applications from eager students.
More than 800 students have applied to attend the school, which is based in 6th of October City.
The applicants will need to pass an aptitude test on 10 August before they are accepted.
The school administration is planning to open more branches during the next school year.
