High school exams to start on Sunday as scheduled: Official

Reda Hegazi, head of Education Ministry’s high school exams department, said exams of the high school certificate (aka, Thanaweyya Amma) will start on Sunday as scheduled, adding that the number of the students taking the exams reached 589,388 students.

Final arrangements for the exams were made, he said adding that the boxes of answer papers were sent to the education departments at all governorates.

In related news, Hegazi warned against attempts at cheating.

Ahmed al-Gioushy, deputy minister for technical education, inspected a school where four cases of cheating were caught in Sharqiya governorate.
