The High Elections Commission will hold a press conference at 7 pm Sunday evening, at the Egypt State Information Service headquarters, to announce the start of the nomination period for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
"The commission will call voters for the elections and announce the schedule of the elections and the conditions of candidacy during the conference," said Commission spokesperson Omar Marawan.
The elections will be held in two stages over a period of three months and will be over by January 2016, said sources at the High Elections Commission.
