Hezbollah launches heavy strike on the most important military base in Israel

Following bombings in Tel Aviv and central Israel, Hezbollah announced on Saturday that it had bombed the “Ramat David base and airport with a batch of ‘Fadi III’ missiles, in support of the Gaza Strip and its resistance, and in defense of Lebanon”, according to the party’s official account on the Telegram platform.

The “Ramat David” base is the most significant Israeli military base, the largest in the northern region and one of three chief air bases in Israel.

Additionally, Hezbollah revealed that it had bombed the “Kabri” settlement with a batch of “Fadi-I” missiles

Earlier on Wednesday, Hezbollah bombarded the Israeli Elanya military base with several Fadi-I missiles, Sky News reported.

Hezbollah previously explained that the Fadi-I missile is an 83 kg warhead, 220 mm in caliber, six meters in length, and a range of 70 km.

“It entered service during the 2006 war and is used in intensive shelling to confuse defense systems. It can also be launched from mobile or fixed positions, and is used to disrupt supply lines and target bases far from the front lines” the statement added.

Hezbollah introduced new missiles into the confrontation with Israel as part of its initial response to the assassination of its prominent military leaders in Israeli airstrikes that targeted the southern suburbs of Beirut, and the explosions of wireless communication devices (pager explosions).

Nasrallah assassinated

The Israeli occupation army revealed the details of the assassination of Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah.

Avichay Adraee, the spokesperson for the occupation army, said that, “The army eliminated Nasrallah and one of the founders of the party, in addition to the assassination of Ali Karaki, the commander of the southern front in Hezbollah, and a number of other leaders in Hezbollah.”
