Media reports revealed the date of the official announcement of the transfer of Omar Marmoush, the star of Eintracht Frankfurt, to Manchester City.
Sky Sports confirmed that Marmoush will travel from Germany to England this week in preparation for completing the transfer to Man City.
The network explained that the official announcement of Marmoush’s transfer to Manchester City will be on Friday.
Marmoush bid farewell to the Eintracht Frankfurt players and fans earlier in January, after reaching an agreement with Manchester City to complete the deal.
Marmoush’s transfer to Manchester City reportedly costs 80 million euros.
German press reports previously announced Marmoush’s salary with his new club, Manchester City.
According to German journalist Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sport, Marmoush’s official salary, as stated in the contracts, will range between €16-17 million in total, including taxes, annually at Manchester City, which is equivalent to €10 million net annually that Marmoush will receive.
Plettenberg said that the Egyptian striker currently receives two million euros annually with his current club.
He also confirmed that Manchester City will pay €75 million as a fixed payment in addition to five million euros as potential bonus payments.
