Egypt's High Elections Committee (HEC) under Counselor Ayman has set the period from 1- 20 August to receive applications from non-governmental organizations as well as Egyptian and foreign media outlets wishing to follow up the upcoming parliamentary elections.
The applications to be submitted at the committee’s headquarters in Heliopolis, Cairo.
Committee Spokesman Counselor Omar Marawan said that this announcement comes as part of preparations to hold the House of Representative elections.
He noted that the committee will issue permissions to the delegates of the accepted NGOs and media outlets during 26-30 August.
