Sources from the High Elections Commission said documents of media channels that applied for covering the parliamentary elections are currenly being reviewed.
Those who have fulfilled the conditions will be declared and receive codes for registration on the HEC website next week.
Media channels who have not fulfilled the conditions will or those that publish lies or news against Egypt will not be accepted, the sources added.
In related news, HEC started preparing computers with voters database updated on them to be sent to 141 polling stations for Egyptians residing abroad. The computers will be sent with employees from the Foreign Ministry. No devices will be sent to Libya or Syria due to the security situation.
