Meteorologists predict rainy weather on Saturday across different parts of Egypt, amid a significant decrease in temperatures.
An overall mild climate is expected in Egypt during daylight hours, growing cold by night.
Temperatures predicted include 21C in Alexandria, 22C in Cairo, 24C in Qena, and 25C in Luxor and Aswan.
Low and medium level clouds are expected to increase over most parts, accompanied by heavy rainfall and sometimes thunder on northeastern coasts, Lower Egypt, Cairo, and Sinai Peninsula.
Meanwhile, rains are expected to be at medium level on northern Upper Egypt, Halayeb and Shalateen.
Winds are expected to be northwestern and moderate. It will be active on western coasts, Red Sea and Mediterranean Sea, disturbing maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be rough, and range between 2.5 to 3 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be mild to rough and range between 2 to 2.5 meters in height. Surface winds will be northwestern on both seas.
