The Egyptian Meteorological Authority announced that the current heatwave gripping the country will subside by Tuesday in the northern parts.
Moderate weather will prevail at the northern coasts, with hot weather in Greater Cairo, the Delta governorates, and northern Upper Egypt, and very hot weather in southern Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.
The weather will grow cold by night across the country.

Alexandria: 30C
Cairo: 39C
Qena, Sohag: 43C
Aswan: 44C
Active winds are expected for areas in Greater Cairo, the Delta governorates, the northern coasts, and South Sinai.
The authority said that temperatures on Monday had risen by up to four degrees.
