
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts that the heat wave gripping most parts of the country to continue until Wednesday.
Temperatures are expected to gradually decline starting Wednesday due to the influence of a low-pressure system in the upper atmosphere at the end of next week.
The low-pressure system will be accompanied by a cold air mass, humidity, and intermittent rainfall in the coastal governorates and the northern part of Lower Egypt.
The EMA recommended that warm clothing still be warn as colder weather is expected to return.
Saturday’s weather
The heat wave will continue across most parts of the country on Saturday, with temperatures rising during the day and dropping at night.
The EMA advised against direct sun exposure during peak hours and urged people to wear appropriate clothing, as the weather will be hot during the day but cooler during the night and early morning hours.

- Matrouh: 28C
- Alexandria: 31C
- Cairo: 32C
- Hurghada: 33C
- Sharm El-Sheikh: 33C
- Luxor: 36C
- Aswan: 37C
