The Health Ministry announced on Friday the death of a protester and the injury of five others during clashes that erupted between supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood and their opponents.
"The death occurred in Fayoum governorate," the statement said.
The five injuries were in Giza, Fayoum,and Minya.
"The injured were still under treatment and observation," the statement added.
Clashes between Muslim Brotherhood supporters and police have become a regular occurrence every Friday since the ouster of Morsy in July 2013.
