Three people were killed in clashes across the country between police and supporters of former president Mohamed Morsy, the Health Ministry said late Friday.
Morsy backers have been in ongoing protests, especially on Friday, condemning the army's ouster of the elected president last year.
The clashes, which occurred at Cairo, Fayoum, Sharqiya and Alexandria, also left 28 injured, said the ministry's report.
The three deaths were all in Cairo, while injuries at the capital stood at 23. Two were injured in both Fayoum and Sharqiya and one in Alexandria.
