Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar discussed with representatives of General Electric company rates of completion in joint projects.
This came during the Minister of Health’s meeting with representatives of the company on the sidelines of the Arab Health Exhibition which is held from January 28 to February 1.
Spokesman for the Ministry Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said the Ministry is cooperating with the company to support the Egyptian medical sector by providing the latest diagnostic devices of various types.
He added that General Electric contributed to a project to develop old Computed tomography (CT) scanners and develop them using modern tomography technologies, which will have an effective impact in providing highly efficient service.
He pointed to cooperation with the company in the mobile radiology units project, by providing a high-quality mobile computed tomography unit that contributed to providing diagnostic service to citizens.
