Hamas reveals details behind killing of Israeli minister’s son

The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, on Friday revealed the details behind the killing of the former chief of staff of the Israeli occupation army, Gal Meir Eisenkot, on Thursday.

It explained “Qassam fighters booby-trapped the entrance to tunnel east of Tal al-Zaatar in northern Gaza Strip with a television bomb, and as soon as the enemy soldiers arrived at the place and attempted to open the tunnel door, the device was detonated, which led to the killing of the son of the former enemy chief of staff, and the minister in the Zionist War Council, Gadi Eisenkot, and the killing and wounding of several others soldiers.”

Qassam bombed the city of Tel Aviv on Friday afternoon with a barrage of rockets in response to Israeli massacres against civilians.

The brigades, in successive statements on its Telegram channel, announced a series of operations targeting the occupation forces penetrating into the Gaza Strip in several attempts.

The Brigades also announced the targeting of Sderot settlement with 114 mm short-range missile system.

The Qassam Brigades targeted a gathering of occupation forces east of Tal al-Zaatar in the northern Gaza Strip with a barrage of mortar shells.

It also announced, on Friday afternoon, that its fighters were able to “target an Israeli force stationed inside the Ibn Uthaymeen School with an anti-fortified TBG missile and engage them from point zero, leaving them dead and wounded northeast of the city of Khan Yunis.”

In the southern Gaza City axis, the Qassam Brigades targeted a gathering of occupation forces with a 114 mm short-range missile system.
