Hadra Sufi Troupe to perform in Cairo Opera House on Monday

The Cairo Opera House will organize a Ramadan evening hosted by the al-Hadra Sufi Chanting Troupe on Monday, 9:30 pm at the open theater.

The night guarantees a special spiritual experience embodied by Sufi chants, supplications, and poems.

The Hadra Sufi Chanting Troupe was founded in 2015 with the aim of preserving the spiritual heritage of remembrance and prophetic praises, presenting everything specific to the heritage of Egyptian Sufi ceremonies.

The troupe is made up of a group of chanters and supplicants from various paths of Sufism. Its repertoire includes a large number of poems and verses by Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi, Al-Hallaj, Ibn Al-Farid, and others.

It has presented many shows in various cultural places in Egypt and have gathered a broad audience.
