Security troops in charge of securing the intelligence building in Ismailia were exposed to heavy fire by gunmen in a car, informed security source said on Friday.
Security forces responded, exchanging fire with the gunmen.
Military and police forces combed the area searching for the car and the gunmen who escaped. No police or military personnel were injured.
