Gunmen affiliated to the Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis terrorist group set a truck carrying food supplies on fire Sunday on the international road in Sheikh Zuwaid city. The vehicle had been heading to the central security camp in Rafah, according to eyewitnesses from North Sinai.
The gunmen stopped the truck, kidnapped the driver and his companion and then set it on fire, the witnesses added.
The incident is not the first of its kind as gunmen have previously set other vehicles carrying petroleum materials on fire on the way Al-Zohour camp in Sheikh Zuwaid.
