Government examines scrapping Daylight Saving Time

The Egyptian government is considering the cancelation of daylight saving time, normally adopted towards the end of April each year, an informed source said.

The system, which lasts until September of every year, has been blamed for causing confusion and health problems by disrupting the biological clock.

The same source told Al-Masry Al-Youm that changing the clock last year both before and after Ramadan proved to be unpractical.
