Giza Pyramids to get a night-time upgrade and recreational area

Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Sherif Fathy, announced that the Pyramids recreational site will be welcoming visitors starting in February 2025.

As part of Orascom Pyramids Development’s extensive renovations, the site is being enhanced with state-of-the-art lighting to create a memorable nighttime experience, according to the Veto website.

This new area will significantly enhance the visitor experience at this iconic landmark, he explained.

Additionally, Fathy stated that camel and horse-riding tours will soon be limited to two designated paths within the Pyramids complex, Al-Mal reported.

He revealed that the updated tourism promotion plan will employ highly customized marketing messages for different international markets, through tailoring campaigns to target specific tourist segments in each country.
