The Giza Lawyers Syndicate has filed a complaint to the attorney general of North Giza on Monday, accusing an officer of the Warraq Police Department of assaulting one of its members, Abdel Hamid Abdel Qadir.
Undersecretary Ibrahim Omran said the lawyer complained to the officer about another officer, who had refused to register a complaint he wanted to file, when the officer assaulted him.
