The German Embassy in Cairo has re-opened its visa section on Sunday after closing it last week for a training course for its personnel.
Meanwhile, the British Embassy is still closed for the second week in a row to continue coordination with the Egyptian authorities as regards security measures.
Moataz Raslan, head of the Egyptian Canadian Business Council, said the council is open and will not be affected by the decision of the Canadian Embassy to suspend its work. “We are keen on the good relations between the two countries, and we will contribute to strengthen ties in various fields,” he said.
He said that the decision of the embassy was out of necessity and that it would re-open within a few days.
