Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Soha Gendi said the 2024 Egyptian presidential election is held at a very important timing amid conditions and crises facing the region, particularly neighboring countries.
She said such crises are taking their toll on the Egyptian national security, which, she added requires raising the public awareness and promoting the participation of Egyptians in the voting.
Gendi told MENA on Saturday that Egyptian nationals in different world countries are invited to cast their votes at the premises of diplomatic mission next Friday and for three days.
She pointed out she will pay a European tour in the coming days to meet Egyptian communities there to complete awareness efforts exerted by the ministry to boost the participation of Egyptian expats in the voting via videoconferencing.
