Leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) have hailed efforts exerted by Egypt, Qatar and the United States to render the truce between the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and Israel a success.
The truce aimed to mitigate the tragic humanitarian conditions of the Gazans, release hostages and prisoners on both sides and allow aid convoys to reach the Palestinian enclave, they said in a final communique issued at the end of the 44th GCC Summit in Doha, Qatar.
