CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) Hossam Heiba discussed during an expanded meeting Sunday upgrading Alexandria Free Zone.
A statement issued by GAFI said the Authority has started implementing decision’s issued by the Egypt’s Supreme Council for Investments, under President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi that aim at supporting investors, through facilitating all investment measures before them.
The meeting also took up an all-out scheme for upgrading the infrastructure of Alexandria Free Trade Zone, the statement said.
GAFI head said the State will continue on its efforts to support investors, highlighting the positive impact of the government’s recently floated new package of investment incentives, saying that the government will announce more incentives for each sector separately within the upcoming stage.
