Meteorologists expect a further drop in temperatures across Egypt on Sunday with mild weather predicted for northern coasts, moderate weather in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and very hot temperatures across the southern parts during daytime.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are 27C in Alexandria, 32C in Cairo, 37C in Hurghada, 38C in Sharm el-Sheikh, 40C in Qena, 42C in Luxor, and 43C in Aswan.
The weather will grow milder by night across the country.
Low and medium-level clouds are anticipated on the northern parts of the country.
Winds will be mostly northeastern and moderate, active on Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, and the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to two meters, with northwestern surface winds on both seas.
