Further drop in temperatures on Sunday, Cairo 31C

Meteorologists expect a four-degree drop in temperatures across Egypt on Sunday, with moderate weather predicted for northern coasts and hot weather in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and very hot temperatures across the southern parts during daytime.

The weather will grow milder at night across the country.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 27C in Alexandria, 31C in Cairo, 38C in Qena and Luxor, and 39C in Aswan.

Mist will impact visibility in the morning in the northern parts of the country, with low- and medium-level clouds anticipated.

Winds will be mostly northeastern and moderate, active on Cairo, South Sinai, the Gulf of Suez, and the Red Sea, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and range between 2 to 2.5 meters in height, with northwestern surface winds on both seas.
