The US/Australian film “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” topped the foreign film box office in Egypt, grossing nearly LE213,000 on Monday while its total revenues in Egyptian theaters in five days rose to LE1,890,000.
The film succeeded in achieving global revenues of US$64.8 million.
This post-apocalyptic action-adventure film revolves around the warrior Furiosa, and her journey in youth before meeting with Max years later for the events of “Fury Road” (2015).
Written and directed by George Miller, this latest installment in the “Mad Max” series stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Burke, Nathan Jones, Angus Sampson, and Daniel Webber.
