President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is presiding over the official inauguration ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) on Saturday evening.
The ceremony is set to last for an hour and a half. The event is being attended by numerous world leaders and monarchs, alongside prominent figures within culture and art.
The public will be officially allowed to visit the museum starting Tuesday, November 4 following the conclusion of the grand opening events.

Grand Egyptian Museum ticket prices
- For Egyptian adults, the ticket price is LE350.
- Tickets for Egyptian students, children, and seniors are priced at LE175.
- For Arab and foreign visitors (non-residents), the adult admission fee is LE1700, while students and children pay LE850.
- Finally, for Arab and foreign residents of Egypt, the adult rate is LE850, and the rate for students and children is LE425.
