The gasoline and diesel shortage has exacerbated in Gharbiya on the first day of Ramadan. Cars stood in long queues in front of gas stations and drivers fought to fuel first, breaking out clashes with fists and knives.
The problem was worse in the cities of Tanta, Mahalla, Kafr al-Zayat and Zifta, causing traffic jams on the main roads.
