Egypt’s meteorologists expect moderate temperatures in the northern coast, Lower Egypt and Cairo on Friday. As usual, hot weather is expected in the north of Upper Egypt, while the hottest temperatures will prevail in southern Upper Egypt.
Temperatures are predicted to include 30C in Alexandria, 32C in Cairo, 37C in Qena, 38C in Luxor, and 40C in Aswan.
Mist will affect visibility in the north of the country.
Low and medium-level clouds are also expected in the north.
Winds will be northwestern and moderate, active in South Sinai, the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea, disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean and Red Sea will be mild, and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be mild to rough, and between 2 to 2.5 meters high, with northwestern surface winds on both seas.
