East Cairo prosecutors ordered the detention of four suspects pending investigation over charges of killing a street child after raping him inside the Palace of Princess Ne'mat, King Farouk's late aunt, in Marg neighborhood, and raping another.
The suspects, according to investigators, lured the victims to the palace before sexually assaulting and beating them. One died and the other escaped from the palace's garden.
The dead child's body had traces of beating and bruises all over. The prosecutor ordered blood sample analysis from the victim's body.
Authorities say the accused confessed to raping then killing the victim with a car jack by hitting him on his head.
They also confessed to raping the other child over eight hours before he escaped.
