South Minya Prosecution referred 96 alleged Muslim Brotherhood members to criminal court over involvement in August riots, that followed dispersal of Rabaa al-Adaweya and Nahda sit-ins.
Among them are former Minya Governor Mostafa Eissa, Muslim Brotherhood member, and other 95 suspects including Diaa al-Moghazy, former vice-president of Minya University, Abdu Saad al-Labban, former head of governor’s technical office, Yehia al-Kashef, faculty member of Minya University and others
The indictment included accusations of joining a banned group, inciting violence, breaking into police and governmental establishments and resisting authorities.
