The Egyptian Foreign Ministry warned citizens on Tuesday from traveling to countries located in western Africa where the Ebola disease has spread, upon the recommendation of the World Health Organization (WHO).
The Foreign Ministry advised citizens not to travel to these countries, except in cases of extreme necessity, and asked them to take all health precautions.
The Foreign Ministry confirmed in a press conference recently that Egypt was free of the disease. The WHO declared a state of emergency as Ebola caused the death of more than 1,000 people in west African countries.
