The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates announced in a Sunday statement that it is monitoring the situation of the Egyptian community in California following the spread of devastating fires throughout the American state.
The office of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, Nabil Habashi, is coordinating with the Egyptian Consulate General in Los Angeles to communicate with members of the community and its representatives to ensure their safety.
The ministry implored all expats in Los Angeles and neighboring cities to exercise extreme caution and stay away from dangerous areas, while also following all instructions given by the local authorities.

The ministry expressed its full solidarity with the US during this difficult period, offering its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and best wishes for a speedy recovery to those injured.
