Amer Hussein, Chairman of the Football Federation’s Competitions Committee, has said that he turned down a request by the Chadian federation to postpone the second match against Egypt scheduled for Tuesday evening.
The match is part of the 2018 Russia World Cup qualifiers and the request to postpone was made because of the short time between the two matches and the fact that the Chadian players are tired.
“We cannot deviate from the international timetable,” Hussein said. “The short time goes for the Egyptian team as well.”
