The meeting reviewed regional crises and ways of addressing them in a manner that serves Egypt’s national interest and contributes to stability and security.

The minister placed special emphasis on the importance of economic diplomacy, stressing that Egyptian missions abroad must play a greater role in attracting foreign direct investment, boosting exports, opening new markets, strengthening economic partnerships with countries and regional blocs, organizing business forums, and maintaining continuous engagement with investors, business leaders, and institutions.

He reiterated that economic priorities constitute a cornerstone of Egypt’s foreign policy.

Abdelatty also underscored the need to enhance communication with Egyptian communities abroad and facilitate consular services, including ongoing efforts to digitize consular processes, while also leveraging the expertise of Egyptians overseas to contribute to national development.
