Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry stressed the importance of achieving stability in Lebanon and overcoming challenges facing the country.
This came during his meeting with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati in New York, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ambassador Ahmed Abo Zeid.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the ongoing developments in Lebanon.
For his part, the Lebanese premier said his country is looking forward to Egypt’s continued support of Lebanon at the regional and international levels.
They also agreed on continuing coordination and consultation between the two countries in the coming stage.
