FM spokesperson condemns killing of American journalist by ISIL

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry critcized Thursday the killing of American journalist James Folly by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, considering it a brutal incident that violates the teachings of Islam and human ethics.
 
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Badr Abdel Aaty said the global community needs to unite to combat terrorism as a global phenomenon that does not target a specific country or region or is linked to a specific religion, but rather is a phenomenon that seeks to target the stability and security of the whole world.
